Being an Okie is a blessing. I love this state! Oklahoma is beautiful and diverse. Yes, we have mountains!
One of the best places to visit and get lost in nature is Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge just a short distance from OKC. Spring is absolutely gorgeous there ... wildflowers blooming ... crispness in the air ... bison changing their coats ... so many things to discover if you only slow down.
Getting off the grid and recharging is a gift from Mother Nature ... and She shares it generously every time I'm there.
I cannot wait to visit again ...
