Happy Women's Day! 

Every year on the 8th of March we celebrate all women around the world. Their beauty, uniqueness, strength, and amazing achievements.

When I was growing up in Poland, I remember this day being so special because every woman carried a bouquet of flowers. Women were honored by husbands, boyfriends, sons, coworkers ... and strangers. The whole day was lined up with flowers! It was customary for men to kiss a woman's hand and offer flowers. It was a day for women. Without any agenda ... and that made it even more special. Just being a woman was enough. 

My favorite flower is freesia. They are delicate flowers in a variety of colors just like the ones in the picture. Oh, and they smell heavenly ... I remember my whole house full of their incredible fragrance!
