Now let me tell you what really happened...

Preparing images for the PPOK Annual Competition is a whole different beast. It's like stepping into a rabbit hole where every time you think you're finished, Photoshop whispers, "Are you sure?" 😂

I lost count of how many times I got up just to rest my eyes. My brain hit post-processing overload somewhere around hour... who knows? And after sitting so long, I'm convinced my tush has officially become square.

Then comes presentation. Oh my goodness... that's an art all by itself! It's not enough to have a beautiful image. It needs the right mat, the perfect keyline, bevel, colors, balance... It's like finding the perfect dress and then realizing you still need the shoes, jewelry, handbag, hair, and makeup before you're ready for the big event.

But here's the funny thing...

I loved every minute of it.

Did I get frustrated? Yep.
Did I learn a ton? Absolutely.
Would I do it again? Ask me tomorrow... 😆

Whether these images merit or not, I'm already celebrating because I know they're the very best I could create today. That's a wonderful feeling.

Tonight's prize? A hot tub, a glass of vino, and absolutely no Photoshop.
